About Gujarat National Law University

Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) is a statutory university established by the Government of Gujarat under the Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003. The University is recognized by the Bar Council of India as well as the University Grants Commission and has two campuses at Gandhinagar and Silvassa. The University offers an integrated five-year undergraduate programme [B.A./B.Com./ B.SC/B.B.A./ B.S.W.LL.B. (Hons.)], post-graduate programme, PhD and several other short-duration courses as well as training programmes for various stakeholders.

GNLU Centre for Business and Public Policy

The GNLU Centre for Business & Public Policy (GCBPP) is one of the centres for excellence established under the Gujarat National Law University, promoting interdisciplinary research and training through capacity-building programmes, interactive sessions, competitions and conferences in capital markets, securities laws, financial & business regulations and public policy. The Centre has the expertise in conducting and executing large-scale events like GNLU International Conference on Business, Laws and Public Policy; GNLU - Khaitan & Co Advanced Certificate Programme on Capital Markets & Securities Law; GNLU – Nishith Desai Associates Policy Drafting Competition; Know Your Practice sessions; etc. amongst other events.

About the Blog

The GNLU Blog on Business Laws and Policy (“GBBLP”) is the flagship blog run under the aegis of the GNLU Centre for Business & Public Policy (“GCBPP”). For the GBBLP blog, we invite submissions from students, academicians and practitioners on contemporary themes under the domain of corporate law, banking & finance, alternative dispute resolution, securities law, competition law, mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, investment funds, insolvency & restructuring, business & public policy, and other relevant themes. We aim to make GBBLP Blog a one-stop portal for students and practitioners to keep up with the latest updates on corporate, securities and business laws.
