The GNLU International Conference on Business, Law & Public Policy (GICBLP) is a platform aimed at promoting dialogue and dissemination of scholarly insights on several important issues in the field of banking, finance, securities market, taxation and allied laws.

The previous editions of the Conference witnessed an overwhelming participation with more than 100 research papers and a large number of delegates from India and abroad. We were graced by the presence of many esteemed dignitaries.

Inspired by the success of the previous editions, we are proud to announce GNLU International Conference on Business, Law & Public Policy (GICBLP ‘24). This edition of the conference will have constructive deliberation on contemporary themes on financial institutions, markets, instruments, innovations and laws & regulations such as securities market & its regulations, regulations on insurance & financial services, banking laws, fintech innovations and regulatory challenges and other broad topics of contemporary issues.

GCBPP organized the “2nd GNLU International Conference on Business, Law, and Public Policy,” on March 3rd and 4th, 2023, which revolved around the extensive themes of banking, finance, securities law, taxation, and allied legal disciplines. The event garnered an overwhelming response, with over 70 teams from across the country presenting their papers. The conference was graced by prominent keynote speakers such as Shri Hasmukh Adhia (Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister of Gujarat, and Former Finance Secretary of India), Mr. Ashwath Rau (Senior Partner – AZB & Partners), Mr. Nishith Desai (Founder – Nishith Desai Associates), Shri Vijay Kumar ITS (Additional Directorate General of Foreign Trade), Shri Praveen Trivedi (Executive Director – International Financial Services Centre Authority),  Mr. Vishal Yaduvanshi (Partner at IndusLaw) and Mr. Sumit Agarwal (Founding Partner at Regstreet Law Advisors), among many others. 

The first edition of the conference in 2018 was graced by Mr. Shaktikanta Das (RBI Governor), Shri Ashish Chauhan (Former MD & CEO, BSE), Dr. Rajiv Kumar (Former NITI Aayog Vice-Chairman), among others
